This hands-on workshop introduces participants to creating interactive maps and visualizing geospatial data using Python, with a focus on the powerful leafmap library. Learn to build dynamic, web-based maps that can handle large datasets, satellite imagery, and real-time data visualization. The session covers data import from various sources, interactive widgets for data exploration, time-series visualization, and integration with popular Python libraries like pandas and geopandas. Participants will create professional-quality interactive maps suitable for research presentations, web applications, and data storytelling.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop to receive the Zoom link via a confirmation email. On the day of the workshop, use the link to join the session.
