TUSP was pleased to host Albertsons Pharmacies on Tuesday, November 18, for a professional meet and greet and leadership event, organized by the Lambda Kappa Sigma (LKS) Pharmacy Fraternity. The event offered students an exciting opportunity to engage directly with Albertsons/ACME pharmacists and explore different career paths, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into the industry. 

Designed to support students exploring their future in the pharmacy field, the event encouraged meaningful conversations about career development, workplace expectations, and an opportunity to connect with professionals on potential internships and residency programs. Students were able to ask questions, seek guidance, and gain valuable insights from practicing pharmacists. 

Students also attended a presentation titled “Leadership Skills for Pharmacists” which emphasized the importance of strong leadership in the profession. This presentation, organized by Albertsons/ACME Pharmacy, taught students the necessary tools and strategies needed to sharpen their leadership capabilities. The program also highlighted the value of effective networking, helping students understand how to connect confidently and professionally with industry leaders.
