Student writers—this is the job for you! 

Klein College of Media and Communication is looking for a current Temple student studying journalism, media/communication, advertising, public relations, English or another related field who loves to research, interview sources and write articles. Join Klein’s Office of Community, Communication and Events as a Student Writer! 

Gain paid work experience writing articles about Klein students, faculty, alumni and community. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Writing long and short-form article content about Klein College students, faculty, alumni and community members to be published on klein.temple.edu/news and promoted on Klein College’s social media channels 

• Able to commit 5-10 hours per week to interviewing and writing 

• Work collaboratively with other writers and meet bi-weekly to provide updates on projects 

Your qualifications: 

• Current undergraduate Temple student 

• Strong writing, editing and communication skills 

• Ability to adapt constructive criticism into your work and an interest in learning new editorial skills 

• Previously published article work with experience in AP Style
