Temple Hospital deemed “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader” by Human Rights Campaign Foundation


The Human Rights Campaign Foundation s Healthcare Equality Index has recognized Temple University Hospital for its equitable treatment and inclusion of LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees for the fourth year in a row.

For the fourth consecutive year, Temple University Hospital has received the designation of LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, accompanied by an evaluation score of 100 in its Healthcare Equality Index (HEI), a standard of measurement of equitable treatment and inclusion of hospitals' LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees.
