A new public art installation is set for summer 2016 in Philadelphia s historic Stenton Park. Karyn Olivier, associate professor of sculpture at Tyler School of Art, was selected by the city of Philadelphia s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy to construct School Is Out. The large-scale blackboard will feature engraved pavers displaying quotes from regionally known public figures. The installation is one part of a larger renovation plan for the park.
