Name a marching-band cover you absolutely need to hear. According to an article in USA Today, that would be the Temple University Diamond Marching Band s rendition of 5 Seconds of Summer s She Looks So Perfect, performed during halftime at the Temple vs. Navy football game on Sept. 6. The piece was written by Chynna Mela, a senior journalism student at Temple, and originally appeared on the website Surviving College.

Most marching bands wouldn t think to choose this Aussie band s tune as their key halftime performance, but we re glad they did, wrote Mela. It is clear from the cheers that playing the not-so-boy-band hit was a total crowd pleaser. Way to go, Temple Owls, and we can t wait until your next performance.
