PPL will host the 2nd annual Policy Challenge at Temple University. For the challenge student teams (2 to 4 students) will be given a prompt about a current policy issue. This year's prompt asks teams to develop a policy response to COVID learning gaps in schools. Teams will develop a policy response to the prompt and write a two-page proposal which they will present before a panel of judges who will select a winner. The winning team will receive a prize of $500 and support to attend the National Policy Challenge Super Bowl at the University of Chicago in February 2027. The national event brings together the winning teams from universities across the country to similarly present their proposals before a panel of judges. Both the PPL Policy Challenge and the National Policy Challenge Super Bowl provide students with the opportunity to creatively engage with and analyze public policy, receive mentorship, network with policymakers, hone communication skills, and win prize money!
