About this Event

This webinar, Behind the CV, is the first of three webinars this year that will take a candid look at the joys, challenges, and lessons of an academic career. This first webinar features Dr. Maurice Schweitzer, interviewed by Dr. Deborah Cai.

Some of the topics that will be covered are the following:

• How do you respond to an R&R
• What are some unwritten "rules" of academia
• What advice do you have for new scholars about interviewing and negotiating for a job
• How do you go about positioning your conflict research

Along with Dr. Jessica Jameson, Drs. Cai and Schweitzer are this year’s scholars-in-residence in the Academy of Management’s Conflict Management division.

This webinar is cosponsored by the Academy of Management’s Conflict Management division and the International Association for Conflict Management (IACM). All three scholars-in-residence are past presidents of IACM.
