Social work is often referred to as a "value-based" profession. In this virtual presentation, Professor Cheryl Hyde will provide an overview of these values and discuss how they inform engagement in social change initiatives. Regardless of focus, setting, or approach, all social workers are ethically mandated to advocate for social justice. This session will explain how the Temple program prepares students for this commitment by unlocking the profession's "superpowers."
