Do you need help with Paper 3 for your ENGLISH 0701 or ENGLISH 0711: Introduction to Academic Discourse class?
The Writing Center in Charles Library provides free consultations, and during our “Power Hours” event, we will have specialized tutors on hand to provide 20-minute consultations.

You can drop in at any time between 1:30pm and 3:05pm!
Consultations are reserved for students enrolled in ENGLISH 701 or ENGLISH 711 who need help with Paper 3. We can assist you at any stage of the process; you do not need a draft in order to receive a consultation. Even if you just need help getting started, brainstorming your ideas, and figuring out how to tackle the assignment, we can assist you!

We will be accepting RSVPs up to and throughout the event. Resources are limited, and students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

You may also book a regular one-on-one appointment with our writing tutors to work on any assignment for any class at any time the Student Success Center is open:
- Mondays through Thursdays: 8:30am - 8:30pm
- Fridays: 8:30am - 4:30pm
- Saturdays: 10:00am - 4:00pm (virtual only)
We have regular writing tutoring appointments available in person in Charles Library 340, online via Zoom, or through asynchronous E-Tutoring.
