Bus Trip to The MET Museum in NYC

Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University, is chartering a bus free of charge to visit The MET Museum in New York City on Sunday, October 18th. The bus will be traveling round-trip from Tyler School of Art and Architecture to The MET Museum in New York City.

Your time in NYC is yours to use as you choose, but we suggest you check out The MET Museum which currently features the exhibition Krasner and Pollock: Past Continuous which is the first major New York presentation devoted to either artist in more than 20 years.

Schedule

  • Departure Time + Location: 8:45am @ Tyler
    Arrive no later than 8:45am. The bus departs at 9am from Tyler School of Art and Architecture, near the 13th and Diamond / Architecture Building Entrance. Look for a parked Academy bus and please check in with our chaperone(s)! 
  • Arrival Time + Location: 11am @ The MET Museum
    Approximately 11am at The Met Museum. Please take note of bus name / number for return trip.
  • Departure Time + Location: 5:45pm  @ The MET Museum
    Arrive no later than 5:45pm. The bus departs at 6pm, near The MET Museum. Look out for the same bus you arrived on.
  • Arrival Time + Location: 8pm @Tyler
    Bus returns to Tyler School of Art and Architecture Approx. 8pm

Please note that general admission is not included with this bus trip. Please check the MET Museum website for details on tickets.

Register for Event

Registration is open to all Temple University students, first come, first served. Registration will close on Monday, October 12th at 5pm.

A confirmation email will be sent to all who have signed up and secured a seat by Wednesday, October 14th. Once the bus has been filled, we will begin a waitlist.

If you sign up for a seat and have to cancel, PLEASE let know as soon as possible so he can notify the next person on the waitlist.

All notifications will be made by 5pm on Thursday, October 15th.
