Join the Office of Sustainability for a guided walking tour of significant trees around Main Campus. Led by long-time director of Grounds, Glenn Eck, in collaboration with student sustainability research fellows, hear the stories of our canopy and understand their ecological and human-centered benefits. The tour will detail challenges and opportunities in managing urban trees and how investment in our green spaces is an important strategy to address urban heat islands and reduce electricity demand by helping to keep buildings and their surroundings cooler.
To ensure an accessible, quality experience, we are capping tour attendance at 25 people. You must register in advance with this form. You will receive confirmation of your RSVP via email. Questions? Email [click-for-email].
