Dr. Graciela Jaschek (College of Public Health) will present on Public Health Beyond Borders, an initiative that engages students in the development of community-based educational programs through meaningful collaboration with local university students and community partners around the world.

Drawing on her experiences leading this initiative, Dr. Jaschek will discuss how students design, implement, and assess educational activities that address public health needs while fostering cross-cultural understanding and global engagement. She will also explore the opportunities and challenges inherent in working across linguistic and cultural boundaries, highlighting strategies for effective communication, collaboration, and program evaluation in diverse settings.

This presentation offers valuable insights into global public health practice, community partnership building, and experiential learning in international contexts.
