If you're taking ENG802, ENG812, or ENG902, then you know that the due date for Paper 2 is coming soon!
Did you know that the Student Success Center has specially trained writing tutors who can help you for free with all your writing assignments, including the papers for your final portfolio in First-Year Writing?
On Wednesday, October 7, from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, we're hosting our first Power Hours event of the semester. Swing by our space in Charles 230 on the second floor of the library at any time between 1:30 and 3:30pm and consult with a tutor for 20 minutes. No appointment necessary! Bring your draft (on your laptop/tablet, or we can print it out for you). And if you don't have a draft yet, no worries! Bring your ideas, and we can help you with brainstorming and making a plan.
Oh, and we'll also have free snacks!
Space is limited, and consultations will happen on a first-come, first-served basis.
PLEASE RSVP HERE!
Not free during the Power Hours? Unable to get a Power Hour consultation? You can schedule a free appointment to meet one-on-one with a writing tutor in Charles 340, on Zoom, or via asynchronous E-Tutoring by logging into the Writing Center's appointment scheduling system and selecting “Writing Tutoring - ALL Types of Writing” as your Appointment Focus.
We're open:
- Mondays through Thursdays: 8:30am to 8:30pm
- Fridays: 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Saturdays: 10:00am to 4:00pm (Zoom and E-Tutoring only)
Happy Fall, happy writing, and best of luck to you!
