Being the first person in a family to navigate the college experience is a wonderful achievement, but it can also bring unexpected challenges. At Temple, 23% of all students are the first in their families to attend college, and many faculty and staff at Temple were first-generation students themselves. 

The Group, sponsored by the TUSP DEI Committee, is open to any School of Pharmacy students, faculty and staff who identify as first-generation. Meetings will be held on campus and will provide space for offering and accepting advice for navigating college and graduate school. Students in all programs and degrees in the School of Pharmacy are welcome.
