Claudia Bernardi is an Argentine installation artist, painter, and printmaker whose life and work are deeply rooted in the histories of political violence and state terror in Latin America. In collaboration with forensic anthropology teams working to recover and identify human remains from mass graves across Latin America, she brings this work into dialogue with art, creating collaborative public art projects with relatives and survivor communities. Her collaborative artworks do more than bear witness to a brutal past; they create spaces in which memory becomes an act of resistance, healing, and hope.
