Klein Production Foundations Workshops help students prepare to use college equipment and production spaces safely and successfully. Multiple sessions are offered throughout the day on Fridays.

Students should choose the workshop that matches the access they need:

• Field Production Equipment Checkout Workshop for field reporting, journalism and related field-based work.
• Narrative and Commercial Production Equipment Checkout Workshop for studio, advertising, short film and related production work.
• TUTV Studio Operations Bootcamp for students participating in TUTV productions. Instructor permission is required.

Beginning Fall 2026, all students who plan to borrow Equipment Room gear must complete one Equipment Checkout Workshop and pass the required quiz before receiving WebCheckout access. This includes prior borrowers.
