Writers of Color Series: My Monticello

The titular novella depicts a near-future scenario where a diverse group of neighbors, fleeing violent white supremacists, take refuge in Thomas Jefferson's historic Monticello plantation.

Discussion moderated by Dr. Srimati Mukherjee, Professor of English, Teaching Track. 

In the wake of COVID-19 and Black Lives Matter, the Writers of Color Series, co-founded by Dr. Mukherjee, centers the voices of writers of color—especially women—creating space for critical conversation and reflection.
