The Communicators: Klein College Alumni Speakers Bureau presents Bri Steves, KLN ’16, as she speaks about media representation, drawing on her work as a recording artist and activist to examine and disrupt stereotypes around race, class and identity. 

The Communicators is presented by Temple University Alumni Association and Klein College of Media and Communication. 

About Bri Steves 

Bri Steves is a Philadelphia-born rapper, singer, songwriter and creative entrepreneur whose career spans major label experience, global touring and independent brand-building. Her breakout single “Jealousy,” produced by T-Minus and Yung Berg, earned recognition from Billboard, Rolling Stone and The FADER, who named her one of “5 Artists Ready to Be Philadelphia’s Next Champion.” She has opened for Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and H.E.R., and collaborated in the studio with Pharrell. 

Today, Bri is the founder of RNBRI WORLD, an artist-led creative universe that merges music, fashion, storytelling, and community. Through her work, she explores branding, independence, and creative ownership in the modern music industry.
