A Community Conversation on Recognizing and Interrupting Bias

Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership (IDEAL)

Join us for an engaging community conversation with Dr. Evelyn Carter, author of Was That Racist? How to Detect, Interrupt, and Unlearn Bias in Everyday Life. This session will begin with a brief lecture, followed by an extended Q&A, providing faculty, students, staff, and the broader Temple community—with practical strategies to recognize and interrupt bias in everyday life. Stick around afterward for a 30-minute book signing.
