The Boyer College of Music and Dance presents the 23rd Annual Concert at the Kimmel Center featuring the Temple University Symphony Orchestra and Choirs.
Celebrating the music of American composers for the 250th anniversary of the United States, this concert will feature Aaron Copland's classic Appalachian Spring Suite; Freedom's Plow by Rollo Dilworth, Elaine Brown Chair of Choral Music; Canticum Novum by Philadelphia-based composer Melissa Dunphy; and Plainchant for America by William Grant Still, one of the most significant African American composers of the 20th century.
