Linda Simensky's incredible career in animation includes work at Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and PBS,  helping launch some of the most notable animated shows of all time including favorites like RugratsHey Arnold! Dexter’s LaboratoryThe Powerpuff Girls, Samurai JackCurious George, and many many others. She currently teaches animation history at the University of Pennsylvania and we're thrilled to have her here to talk with students! 

Linda Simensky is an animation executive, creative producer, and character development expert for a variety of projects. In addition, Simensky teaches animation history at the University of Pennsylvania. She most recently was Head of Character Development for Duolingo, where she led the company’s efforts to create character-driven stories featuring Duolingo’s cast of characters. Before Duolingo, Simensky was Head of Content for PBS KIDS, where she oversaw all series from Curious George to Weather Hunters.
