Introduction to Rapid Reviews

Charles Library
A silver stopwatch

This workshop covers what a rapid review is, when and why you would use this methodology, and the essential components. You’ll learn how to develop a clear PICO question and will understand the different steps of a review, including searching, screening, data extraction, and synthesis. We’ll also discuss how rapid reviews differ from traditional systematic reviews—while still maintaining transparency and rigor to reduce bias. Perfect for anyone looking to share high-quality evidence quickly.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link. This workshop will not be recorded, but a copy of the slides will be emailed after the workshop concludes.
