This workshop introduces nursing and health sciences students and researchers to REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) as a tool for designing and implementing surveys to support research. Participants will learn how to construct effective survey instruments by learning the fundamentals of the platform and then by watching a demonstration on how to build a survey. By the end of the session, participants will have a foundational understanding of how to use REDCap to create, deploy, and manage surveys appropriate for coursework, capstone projects, and practice-based research. No prior REDCap experience is necessary.
Please note: The REDCap tool is only available for members of the Temple community (faculty, staff, and students).
This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link. This workshop will not be recorded, but a copy of the slides will be emailed after the workshop concludes.
