In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to spot common structural issues in newly planted trees and how to gently correct them using simple hand tools, like pruners and hand saws. We’ll cover how pruning decisions vary by tree species and how to prune with your long-term landscape goals in mind to make sure you are successful when caring for trees in your landscape or community. The program will be held in Learning Center Room 103.
