This exhibition features final game prototypes from DES 3641: Design Play. Students designed card, dice, tile, and party games that evolved through hands-on playtesting, iteration, and visual refinement, with a strong focus on systems thinking and player experience.
All projects were digitally mocked up and supported by cohesive visual systems spanning game components, packaging, and instructions. Many include a style tile outlining brand guidelines such as typography, color, and iconography. Playability was central to the process—games were built to be tested, revised, and refined—underscoring that successful games are not just designed, but played.
Taking place within The Pyramid Club: Our Continuum exhibition, Game Night features original card, dice, and party games. Students will be there to teach visitors how to play and experience the games firsthand.
