Understanding the role of health literacy in treatment adherence and shared decision-making promises enhanced clinical outcomes and a reduction in unnecessary rehospitalizations. This is especially critical for oncology patients navigating complex treatment trajectories during periods of heightened psychological stress. Drawing from an international collaboration, this presentation highlights the methodology and findings involved in adapting the Cancer Health Literacy Test for Arabic-speaking populations.
