Join the Office of Sustainability for a mini-series of professional networking opportunities with our Career Coffee Chats. These small, informal conversations in the Office of Sustainability will connect accomplished alumni working in sustainability-related careers with students interested in pursuing a similar career path. These career-focused conversations will allow students to ask questions and gain advice on pursuing and navigating a career in sustainability.
This week, we are excited to host Andrew Kirkpatrick, Urban Greening Coordinator with the City of Philadelphia. Originally from Harrisburg, Andrew moved to Philly in 2010 for graduate school in Landscape Architecture at Temple University and never left. He most recently worked at a local land trust where he came to understand the power of land sovereignty for disadvantaged and disinvested communities. In his role as the Urban Greening Coordinator with Farm Philly, Andrew manages the Community Compost Network, Community Agriculture Network, and the Land Access Program. In his position, Andrew enjoys the opportunity to engage local community gardeners with resources needed to support their work.
Join us for a catered conversation with Andrew! Spots are limited so be sure to RSVP on Suitable!
