On Tuesday, September 18 the award-winning youth journalism program POPPYN (Presenting Our Perspective on Philly Youth News) will screen their new episode exploring the ways youth in the city of Philadelphia demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges like gun violence, school safety, bullying, LGBT discrimination and health issues. The screening will take place at 5:30pm in the Mayor's Reception Room. A brief Q&A with youth producers and various community partners will follow the screening. This event is hosted by the Mayor's Office Of LGBT Affairs.
