Addressing and referring students in distress or challenging students is often difficult. This training workshop provides staff and faculty with techniques on how to approach and refer a student you may be concerned about or challenged by.

This workshop will additionally review campus resources and highlight the Student Safety Nest, a guide to helping students in distress, which provides suggestions on how to manage specific situations of students concern. Core skills addressed in this workshop: clear communication and interpersonal skills.
