Yes, I am a “Real Teacher”: Facilitating Recitations, Labs, and Supplemental Sessions

Being a TA is not easy. Besides grading and following up with your professor or department, you may also be in charge of labs, tutoring, or supplemental sessions for students who may not understand your role in the course. Together, we will discuss research-based strategies for establishing a relationship with students and facilitating active and effective supplemental sessions that support what is being taught in class. This workshop also gives you the opportunity to meet and collaborate with TA's from across the university.

TAs are expected to attend all three sessions.
