Pat's legal experience includes serving as acting director of intellectual property for a major pharmaceutical company, where he was responsible for a wide variety of patent matters, including review of invention disclosures, due diligence studies, freedom-to-operate studies, review of licensing agreements, and related patent matters. He also held the role of on-site patent counsel for the life sciences and chemical analysis division of a leading manufacturer of scientific instruments and analysis equipment.
