To the Temple Community,    

This evening, around 10 p.m., the Temple University Police Department (TUPD) and Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) responded to reports of a shooting that occurred off-campus in the area of the 1900 block of 18th street. Upon arrival, TUPD found that two males, who are not affiliated with the university, had been shot.

The two victims have since been transported to Temple Hospital and are currently receiving treatment for their wounds. The search for the suspect is underway.

PPD is leading the investigation while TUPD is working to assist detectives.
