Enrollment Management Announcement

Posted

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that we have found a highly experienced and capable enrollment management executive to temporarily lead the university’s recruitment and enrollment efforts for the remainder of the academic year.

Rob Reddy, most recently the vice president for enrollment management at St. Louis University, will join Temple January 1 as interim vice provost for enrollment management. As you know, Jose Aviles announced his departure from that post just before Thanksgiving and departed Dec. 2. We will be conducting a search for a permanent vice provost to begin in late spring of 2026.

Rob comes to us with deep experience in the field and a reputation for taking on challenging assignments. He has worked for three decades in the areas of admissions, financial aid and veterans’ relations.

Previously, he served as assistant vice chancellor of enrollment management and dean of student financial services at Northeastern University. During his tenure, Northeastern saw dramatic growth in both its enrollment and its international reputation.

Rob has been involved professionally in many national organizations, including the College Board, the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, the Counsel on Financial Higher Education and the National Association for College Admission Counseling. He has regularly presented on admission, financial aid and enrollment management topics.

Rob will begin connecting with the enrollment management team this week. That team has been working diligently to deliver another strong first-year and transfer class for fall 2026, and Rob will hit the ground running with the team as the new year begins.

Please join me in welcoming Rob to Temple University.

Sincerely,

David Boardman
Interim Provost
