In continued response to organizational changes in the Finance and Administration portfolio, Senior Vice President, CFO and Treasurer Anthony Wagner announced today the appointment of Kathryn D Angelo to the position of assistant vice president for administration and planning. In her new role, D Angelo will provide strategic support and advance special projects within the portfolio and oversee the university s emergency preparedness efforts.

D Angelo has nearly 15 years experience working in education, the last eight at Temple. In her most recent role as a director for the Office of the Provost, she was responsible for coordinating executive searches, facilitating policy review and creation and managing university-wide initiatives such as Commencement. Prior to that D Angelo served as the associate dean of students where she oversaw Orientation and new student programs, judicial affairs, student media, Greek life, community service and student leadership.

D Angelo is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in educational administration and holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in organizational development. She will assume her new responsibilities May 1.
